Children & Families
Photographing families is my passion, and hands-down my favorite part of my work - whether it's expectant families, families with new babies, families who feel complete and are documenting the joy and reality of their lives with toddlers or grade school or adult children, couples who are just pledging to become families on their wedding days, families blessed by the beauty of adoption, or families experiencing second chances in blended families. I simply adore the real, everyday moments of families being themselves at whatever stage of life they are in and connecting with each other.
Maternity & Newborns
Newborn sessions are sweet and perfect and fill my heart with joy every single time! I truly believe it is an honor to be invited in to your home and trusted with your whole heart in the form of your new baby. I never take that privilege lightly, and I absolutely love capturing the fleeting newness of those first overwhelming, overjoyed days together with both posed & lifestyle images. You'll look back on your pictures years later and see your love-filled faces holding impossibly small hands, and you'll wonder how you ever got through those first days or how they are already over. Newborn pictures are such a treasure.
Weddings
I'm the photographer on your wedding day whose face is tired when I go home because I've been smiling so constantly the entire day! I truly enjoy getting to know you, learning your story, working through the logistics of the day with you, and then seeing the day you've been planning for so long come together!! I love being next to you the entire day capturing all of the moments unfold. Even with unexpected weather or snafus, it is always a beautiful, joy-filled day, and I love documenting your story and the candid, real moments between you and everyone you love as you experience your wedding day.
