WHAT TYPES OF SESSIONS DO YOU OFFER?
I photograph maternity & newborns, children & families, couples & engagement sessions, and a select number of weddings! At this time I only book events (such as birthday parties, first communions, anniversary celebrations, etc), for current clients who have already completed a session with me.
WHAT TIME OF DAY DO YOU BOOK SESSIONS?
l book all sessions a couple hours before sunset as that is the time that the sun is at just the right spot to create beautiful, flattering light for your session.
WHERE WILL MY SESSION TAKE PLACE?
I love to do sessions in the places that are most meaningful to you, whether that is your home, a beautiful park (I’m partial to tall grasses and will happily suggest locations!!), or another special location. Sessions outside of Bergen County or Passaic County may incur a small travel fee.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR FOR MY SESSION?
This is my most frequently asked question, and I am more than happy to walk you through this process with recommendations for what photographs well so you feel confident before your session!!
First and foremost, I want you to wear what is YOU, because I want our session to be a genuine reflection of you and your style and family. My primary ‘tip’, when asked, is to aim for soft tones and neutral colors because I have found that consistently creates the most timeless images and looks the best hanging on any wall. I also recommend that not everyone match in identical outfits, but rather a blend of similar colors and layers.
For additional help, I have curated a small studio wardrobe with options you are welcome to borrow for your session!! I also offer a complimentary styling service just for my clients so that you don’t have to stress about ANYTHING!! WHEN WILL I RECEIVE THE IMAGES FROM MY SESSION?
You can expect to receive your final images 2 weeks after your session date. If you would like to receive your images sooner than two weeks, a rush can be applied for $100, which will ensure your images are complete one week after your session date.
